Julie Kershner recently returned to Los Cabos Sotheby’s International Realty, as a Luxury Property Specialist and is delighted to be in the Sotheby’s International Realty family.. She was licensed in Washington State in 1992 and worked as a Realtor® in the Seattle area for eight years before following the sun to Baja. During the past 20 years, she has worked at several top positions in Los Cabos real estate offices, including Broker for Los Cabos Sotheby’s International Realty for 8 years.
Julie has been President of the Los Cabos Multiple Listing Association and recently served as President of the Association of Mexican Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) in Los Cabos, the Mexican equivalent of the National Association of Realtors. During this time, she was part of a 2-person team that developed a 40-hour curriculum to be used by the Los Cabos Multiple Listing Association for accreditation purposes, as well as a practical 12-hour course to assist agents in practicing real estate.
She holds the prestigious designation of Certified International Property Specialist and the title of Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist from the National Association of Realtors. She is a past member of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, as well as an instructor for the TransNational Referral Certification from the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA) and is a member of FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation. Her affiliations also include the International Resort Symposium.
In January 2008, she was awarded “Master of Real Estate” by the Arizona Association of Realtors. In July 2013, Julie was inducted as an “Honorary Member” of the International Committee of the Texas Association of Realtors.
